Photography records every aspect of our lives--the places we go, the things we do, the scenes and subjects we like. But the photographs we usually like the best are pictures of people: family, friends, people we know well and strangers we don't know at all. The reason is simple. People are predictable and unpredictable, alike and individual, familiar and always surprising. The trick as a photographer is to catch that special feeling.

I've always been motivated by an interest in people and the things that make them different, their philosophies, and customs. I try to capture some of these differences, the subtleties, which separate one group of people from another, and one individual from another. I try to find the story within my clients which will reveal their personality without speaking a word but also giving the viewer emotional meaning.

Artistic Photography strives for excellence by constantly monitoring customer service and portrait quality one client at a time. My policy is to give each client or event the time and attention they desire when giving me the privilege of creating their portrait package.

I schedule portrait sessions with more than ample time to create the images that are pleasing and desirable. I never rush any session, therefore creating a relaxed atmosphere. My schedule provides everyone with the personal time and attention required to create the images needed.
